The VinUni 2025 Commencement Ceremony, under the theme LEGACY OF EXCELLENCE, marks a defining moment in the journey of Cohort 2 – a journey of rising above challenges and building values that will continue to shape VinUni and beyond.

This is the story of a generation that dared to rise above hardship – leaving behind a legacy of resilience.
It’s about a shared journey – of striving together through challenges – and leaving a legacy of connection.
For Cohort 2 and all VinUni students, the question has always been:
Why endure the pressure?
Why stay resilient?
Why build bonds?
Because deep down, every VinUni student carries a quiet wish –
To leave something meaningful behind.
The legacy doesn’t end here.
It continues – at VinUni and beyond.

The key visual features bold geometric shapes in vibrant colors drawn from VinUni and its three colleges – a striking representation of diversity, youth, and boldness.
Each shape reflects a unique path, a different background, a distinct voice – coming together to form one powerful whole. Just like Cohort 2: wildly diverse, unapologetically bold, and united by a shared journey.

1. Students’ Film project
As graduation approaches, a whirlwind of emotions begins to stir – nostalgia, warmth, a touch of uncertainty, and joy. For a moment, let’s pause and sit down together, allowing the memories of your four years at VinUni to walk alongside you once more on this final stretch and to carry you forward into all the journeys yet to come.
2. Creative gown photoshoot
With the theme “Our Beloved Youth,” creativity comes alive in every photo, as the iconic graduation gown, typically reserved for formal moments, appears in everyday scenes that reflect the authentic student life of Cohort 2.
Connection shines through in every group shot, where individuality gives way to a collective “we” – a tight-knit community that has grown, journeyed, and matured together in “Our Beloved Youth.”
3. Graduation Merchandise Collection
With the theme “VinUni through VinUnians’ eyes”, this year’s graduation merchandise collection features familiar, relatable images from VinUni that closely resonate with cohort 2, using sketch drawings from a VinUnian. The collection features a range of items – from t-shirts, tote bags, pins, to mugs.
4. “Not Your Typical Graduates Contest” Social Media Series

Days of learning, laughing, and “fighting” through it all
Those not-so-typical experiences are exactly what brought Cohort 2 closer in our own special way. From that bond, the “Not Your Typical Graduates” contest was born as a space to capture and share these unforgettable stories.
Graduation season is here again. A time of long hugs, heartfelt goodbyes, and big dreams for the road ahead. Not Your Typical Graduates is a chance to capture unforgettable memories – of special friends, mentors, or moments that are uniquely “Cohort 2.”

VinUni’s graduation with the theme: LEGACY OF EXCELLENCE is a historic milestone, marking the maturation of VinUni’s pioneering student generation. The ceremony is being live-streamed on VinUni’s official fanpage and YouTube channel.
Four years ago, Cohort 2 began their university journey in a time of global uncertainty. Away from home, learning to adapt and thrive amidst unprecedented macro-challenges. Yet, they didn’t stop. They turned obstacles into opportunities, developed their unique talents, and built a resilient community grounded in connection and mutual support. Now, they are ready for the next chapter, carrying with them resilience, unity, and a deep desire to make meaningful contributions to the world.
